Organic Cotton BirdsEye Prefold Diapers - Natural (6 Pack) - Infant

A prefold organic cotton diaper with four layers at the edges and six layers in the middle. 

You will need diaper covers and XKKO ECO biodegradable corn diaper liners to use with folded diapers. A waterproof changing mat and a wet diaper bag will also be useful for changing your baby anywhere.

Use diaper boosters when you need to increase the absorbency of your diaper system, such as at night. You can use these with classic square diapers, folded diapers, or fitted diapers. Always use diaper covers with these diaper systems.

The diapers are made of 100% organic cotton BirdsEye. This material becomes even more absorbent after multiple washings, reaching optimal absorbency after 4-8 washes.

The natural property of untreated cotton is shrinkage, the commonly reported diaper shrinkage value is around 10%. 

Organic cotton with a GOTS certificate (Global Organic Textile Standard) is grown without chemical spraying while utilizing natural laws.

Natural biodiversity, crop rotation, and compost fertilization keep the soil healthy and full of nutrients. Instead of using chemical preparations, weeds are removed by simple manual weeding and hoeing, mulching, more efficient irrigation and growing of multiple plant species together.

Only natural insecticides are used and various methods (such as planting of specific crops) encourage the occurrence of natural enemies of plant pests. The picking of cotton blossoms is often done by hand or by other very gentle methods, and always without the action of chemicals used to defoliate plants.
